SCI115L CM - Genomic Guide to HealthThe sequencing of the human genome has opened the doors to a better understanding of human diseases and to new approaches for disease diagnostics and therapeutics. This computational biology course will introduce students to algorithmic approaches and machine learning methods for analyzing the human genome, including genome assembly, identification of genomic variations, disease risk prediction, and drug development. There will be a computational lab associated with this class.
