   |  PHYS 178  KS - BiophysicsAn examination of biological systems from the point of view of classical physics, including mechanics, thermodynamics, and electromagnetism. Topics may include molecular diffusion, low-Reynolds number hydrodynamics, cooperative transitions in biomolecules, the mechanism of nerve impulses, the physics of vision and hearing, and principles of medical imaging and radiation therapy.
