PSYC 109 CM - Introduction to Statistics for PsychologistsThis course emphasizes the role of statistics in psychological research. The course covers both descriptive and inferential statistics and will include: hypothesis testing, the role of sampling distributions, the use of statistical techniques such as t-tests, analysis of variance, correlation, multiple regression, and the use of non-parametric statistics. Throughout the course, students will use computerized statistical packages.
Prerequisite: One lower-division psychology course or permission of instructor
