PHYS 102 KS - Intermediate Electricity and MagnetismAn upper division course in electrodynamics using analytical, but emphasizing numerical, techniques to solve problems. Topics include electrostatic solutions using Laplace’s and Poisson’s equations, polarization, magnetostatics, magnetization, Maxwell’s equations, electromagnetic waves, and electromagnetic radiation.
Prerequisites: PHYS 034L KS or both semesters of ; PHYS 100 KS (or equivalent); MATH 032 CM , or permission of instructor
