SOC 030 CH - Chicanos/as in Contemporary SocietySociological analysis of theoretical and methodological approaches used to study Chicano/a and Latino/a communities. Socioeconomic conditions, patterns of immigration, the family, education, gender relations and political experiences are examined. Course includes a field internship option.
