Accelerated Integrated Science Sequence (AISS)

The AISS program is a honors-level course sequence for a small number of first-year students interested in majoring in science. The sequence is an alternative to the standard six-course introductory curriculum in biology, chemistry and physics (Introductory BIOL 043L JS and BIOL 044L JS , Basic Principles of CHEM 014L JS and CHEM 015L JS , and Principles of PHYS 033L JS and PHYS 034L JS ). It consists of four interdisciplinary intensive science courses to be completed in the first year (AISS 001ALJS and AISS 001BLJS in the fall semester and AISS 002ALJS and AISS 002BLJS in the spring semester). Enrollment requires written permission.
