MATH 135 CM - Complex AnalysisAn introduction to the theory and application of analytic functions of a complex variable. Topics may include: Mobius transformation, multiple-valued functions, Cauchy-Riemann equations, harmonic functions, Cauchy’s Theorem, Liouville’s Theorem, Cauchy’s Integral Formula, Maximum Modulus Principle, Argument Principle, Rouche’s Theorem, series expansions, isolated singularities, calculus of residues, conformal mapping. Additional topics at the discretion of the instructor.Offered jointly by CMC and Pomona.
Prerequisite: MATH 060 CM ; a proof-based course above 100 recommended
