SCI171L CM - Mathematical Modeling for ScientistsThis course provides a broad introduction to mathematical modeling as it applies to the life and Earth sciences. It covers both analytic and computational techniques used to generate model predictions about the natural world and includes detailed case studies of models commonly used in a variety of scientific disciplines, such as biochemistry, ecology, epidemiology, and climate science. There is a computational lab associated with this course.
Prerequisites: SCI 031LACM and SCI 031LBCM , or permission of the instructor
