SCI119 CM - The Senses

This course provides an integrative perspective on the senses, applying concepts from cell biology, biochemistry, physics, genomics, ecology, and evolution. For each of the senses, this course examines the molecular and physiological basis of sensory reception, and links the sensory environment to the structure and function of sensory receptors and organs. Additional topics may include the impact of diseases and environmental change on the function of the senses. Formerly BIOL167 KS.
