BIOL186L KS - Special Topics in Biodiversity

A laboratory/field course taught primarily in the field, e.g. Pitzer’s Firestone Center and Reserve in Costa Rica. Students will investigate focused topics in the field biodiversity, in a fully integrated and immersive lecture/lab/field format. The majority of the course will be taught in 2 weeks during January of late May, with a small component in the spring semester. Not open to seniors.

Prerequisites: BIOL 043L KS , BIOL 044L KS , CHEM 014L KS , CHEM 015L KS  or equivalent.
