Claremont McKenna College offers a semester internship program in Washington, D.C. Students accepted to the Washington Program take:

• GOVT 127 CM - Research on the Political Process .

For further information on participation in the Washington Program, see Washington Program . GOVT 125 CM  and GOVT 126 CM  may be counted towards the government major; all four courses count toward college graduation requirements.

Overall, not more than a total of two internship program courses (GOVT 125 CM  or GOVT 126 CM ) and independent study courses (GOVT 199 CM ) may be counted toward the major.
