LEAD141 CM - Youth Civic Leadership

This course explores the role of youth in civic and political engagement, examining theories of youth development, leadership models, and key factors (e.g., psychological, social, macro) that shape civic participation. Through scholarly readings, discussions, and applied projects, students will analyze historical and contemporary examples of youth activism and organizing. The course emphasizes critical thinking, leadership development, intergroup dialogue, and strategies for sustaining civic engagement over time.
