An introduction to biochemistry as it applies to cells, tissues, and organisms. The course is structured around three primary topics: the structures and functions of the main classes of biomolecules, basic enzymology and biochemical reaction mechanisms, and the metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins.
