GOVT054 CM - Research Methods for International Relations

This is an introductory course in research methods and design primarily for International Relations majors but useful for anyone in the social sciences. During the semester, students will learn about research design, choice of methods, and analysis. Both qualitative and quantitative methods will be covered. This is not a course in data analysis; however, students will be introduced to basic descriptive statistics and data analysis in R at the end of the semester to prepare them both to consume academic research and take more advanced data analysis classes.
