PSYC134 CM - Leading Teams With a DEI Lens

Overview of the theory and practice of inclusive leadership in organizations. Specifically, it delves into the intricacies of guiding individuals with shared goals through a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) lens. Following the scientist-practitioner model, this course offers students a blend of theoretical insights and practical skills for effectively managing teams. Special attention is given to the ABCs of teamwork (i.e., affective, behavioral, and cognitive components) as they manifest and evolve in contemporary organizations. Ultimately, this course is designed for aspiring leaders dedicated to fostering equity, inclusion, and leveraging diversity for positive team outcomes. Also listed as LEAD 134 CM.
