MATH148 CM - Knot TheoryAn introduction to the theory of knots, links and other knotted objects from combinatorial, algebraic and geometric perspectives. Topics may include knot diagrams, p-colorings, Alexander, Jones and HOMFLY polynomials, Seifert surfaces, genus, the fundamental group, representations of knot groups, quandles, quandle cocycle invariants, tangles and braids, spatial graphs, surface-links and virtual knots.
