MATH060C CM - Linear Algebra with ComputingAn introduction to the methods of linear algebra. Topics include: Linear equations and matrices, determinants, vector spaces, linear transformations, inner product spaces and quadratic forms, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, canonical forms, with an introduction to a numerical linear algebra system such as MATLAB. Equivalent to MATH 060 CM for prerequisite and major requirement purposes.
Prerequisites: MATH 031 CM or instructor permission; MATH 032 CM recommended.
