KORE120 CM - Advanced Korean: Literature and Culture

This course is designed to help students improve Korean language proficiency through extensive reading and discussions of a variety of texts, including short stories, poetry, essays, and newspaper articles. Reading and discussion topics are selected to extend students’ understanding of Korean society and culture. Emphasis is also placed on writing critical essays in Korean. Satisfies the CMC Foreign Literature GE.

Prerequisite: KORE 044 CM or equivalent

Offered: Every other fall (in alternation with KORE110 CM)
