PSYC162 CM - Seminar in Remembering and ForgettingThis course explores the functionality of human memory by critically evaluating both the exceptional powers and peculiar limitations of everyday memory that allow us to reminisce, survive, create, and interact in socially acceptable ways. Important findings and conceptual frameworks in both contemporary and classical theories are discussed. The primary focus is on memory experiences in real-world contexts.
Prerequisite: One lower-division psychology course or permission of instructor
