GOVT150C CM - Race, Gender and Identity in International PoliticsThis course will expose students to theories of race, gender, and identity as they relate to two of the political science subdisciplines: International Relations and Comparative Politics. Students will deepen their overall understanding of the discipline and the applications of its tenets and theories; develop expertise on a select issue within the topic area; hone their research, analysis, and writing skills; be introduced to the nexus of academia and policy; and receive support and advice from professors and practitioners. Students will also learn to appreciate how each of the readings and guest speakers prioritizes different worldviews, depending on both disciplinary conventions and ideological standpoints.
