HIST133B CM - Modern Russian History, 1917 to the PresentThis course analyzes Russian society and politics in the Soviet and Post-Soviet periods. Emphasis will be placed on the Russian revolutionary experience, on the origins and implications of Stalinism, on the Soviet Union after Stalin, and on the collapse of the Soviet system in 1991.
