GOVT166C CM - The Politics of the Gig Economy: Entrepreneurship, Technological Innovation, and PoliticsThis course introduces students to ongoing technological, political and economic transformations that are redefining the meaning of work, prosperity, innovation and entrepreneurship in post-Industrial capitalist economies. The course covers: foundational texts of political economy; theoretical debates about capitalism, profit, property, and inequality; entrepreneurship, technological innovation, and government regulation; and domestic and international public policy debates.
