BIOL167 KS - Sensory EvolutionThis course provides an integrative perspective on the evolution of sensory systems, bridging the fields of organismal biology, macroevolution, and sensory biology. Topics include metazoan phylogenetics, molecular and physiological basics of sensory perception, structure and function of major sensory systems (vision, mechanoreception, chemoreception, electroreception), and macroevolutionary concepts (coevolution, adaptation).
