MATH165 CM - Numerical AnalysisThis numerical analysis course is an introduction course to numerical methods for theoretical techniques delivered in Calculus and Ordinary Differential Equations. Students will learn how to use computer to do numerical differentiation, integration and interpolation. Furthermore, many numerical techniques for solving linear and nonlinear algebraic equations and ordinary differential equations will be discussed. The theoretical properties of numerical schemes such as error analysis, convergence, and stability will be studied in order to understand the legitimate usage of numerical methods to approximate the theoretical solutions.
Prerequisites: MATH 060 CM and MATH 111 CM
