HIST073 CM - The Rise of Modern Europe, 1750 to the PresentAn examination of the major issues in the rise of modern Europe from the 18th to the 21st centuries. Major topics include the secularization of culture, the industrial revolution, imperialism, the rise of the modern nation state, and rise of new political-economic systems such as capitalism, democracy, fascism, and communism.
