GOVT100 CM - Policy Lab

This course will explore the politics and process of domestic policymaking in the United States, the analytical tools for policy creation, and client-based experiential approach to policy research and formation. Through a case study approach, students will gain the knowledge and skills required to produce professional policy studies. In addition to instruction and class projects, students will work in a policy laboratory with a Washington, DC-based client to conduct research and analysis on a real world policy question. Prerequisites: GOVT 020 CM , ECON 050 CM ; and ECON 120 CM , ECON 125 CM GOVT 055 CM , or equivalent
