The city of Claremont is located 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. Claremont McKenna College’s Admission Office is located in The Kravis Center at 888 Columbia in Claremont. In addition to the Admission Office, The Kravis Center also houses academic departments, research institutes, and faculty and administrative offices.
By Car
From the Los Angeles Area
Take the San Bernardino Freeway (I-10) east to Indian Hill Boulevard (exit 47). Turn left (north) onto Indian Hill and drive for approximately one mile to Tenth Street. Turn right onto Tenth Street, then turn right again onto Columbia Avenue. The Admission Office is in the second block on the left in The Kravis Center at 888 Columbia Avenue.
From Pasadena and the San Fernando Valley
Take the Foothill Freeway (I-210) east and exit right at Towne Avenue. Turn right (south) onto Town Avenue and drive for about one mile. Turn left at Foothill Boulevard and continue for approximately two miles to Dartmouth Avenue. Turn right at the traffic light onto Dartmouth, then turn left onto Tenth Street. Turn right onto Columbia Avenue. The Admission Office is in the second block on the left in The Kravis Center at 888 Columbia Avenue.
From Orange County
Take the Orange Freeway (SR-57) north to the San Bernardino Freeway (I-10) east. Continue on I-10 to the Indian Hill Boulevard exit (exit 47). Turn left (north) onto Indian Hill and drive for approximately one mile to Tenth Street. Turn right onto Tenth Street, then right again onto Columbia Avenue. The Admission Office is in the second block on the left in The Kravis Center at 888 Columbia Avenue.
By Air
Claremont is located approximately 10 miles west of the Ontario International Airport (ONT), making it the most convenient airport for visitors. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is about 50 miles west of Claremont, while Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) is approximately 45 miles northwest of Claremont.
By Train
The Claremont Metrolink Station, located less than a mile from CMC’s campus, offers convenient service to and from Los Angeles Union Station via the Metrolink San Bernardino Line.
Amtrak service is available at the Pomona-North station, just a few miles from Claremont. From there, travelers can take a short rideshare or taxi to campus.
