GOVT110 CM - American Culture Wars

Conservatives and progressives have long been divided over such issues as marriage, gender, education, and the place of religion in the public square. This course will explore these divisions through the writings of some of the most thoughtful public intellectuals. Exposure to these competing views will help students think more critically about issues that are not only politically and philosophically significant, but also of great personal relevance to the way they live their lives.
